Moonfall is absolutely bonkers

lmao i literally can't believe that a movie like this can be made. if you think the movie is about the moon simply just falling to earth... it's a LOT crazier than that. the exposition at the end makes it worth the watch.i get it. it's stupid. the RT score is 30%. but really with a premise like that, what can you expect? That it's going to be a masterpiece? no.

it's stupid. absolutely stupid. the plot, the script, the dialogue delivered with utmost seriousness ("the moon has entered the atmosphere"), is so ridiculous it goes past it's so bad it's good. some lines are actually pretty hilarious as intended but for the most part everything said is so dumb.

i'm looking it up and it looks like the budget for this movie was about $150 million, one of the most expensive independent movie ever made which makes me thankful a big studio didn't back this because they're sane enough not to, and if they did they might've intervened to make it less ridiculous. i've had more fun watching this movie than almost anything that came out last year. if there's a sequel it's going to be a day one for me
