How do you discover new movies to watch?

Working on an app that's essentially a social platform for discovering and sharing what media you are consuming with your friends. So not just movies but tv, books, podcasts, apps, music, games, etc.

I'm curious how you discover new movies? The Internet, this subreddit, ads, office water cooler, chatting with friends, etc.

Do you track those movies anywhere? Notes app, Letterboxd, your brain and then go aha when you're scrolling Netflix, Hulu, etc.?
