Movies where the protagonist is exceptional at what they do?

I've found that when it comes to shows and movies, this is my jam. I love shows like House MD and Lie to Me. Some movies in this category that come to mind are Glass Onion, the Bond franchise, John Wick, Taken, Bullet Train, even Lord of the Rings I think falls into this category. It doesn't necessarily have to be an action flick but I think those tend to fit the bill. What are some other movies that feature characters whom we get to watch excel at what they do?
