Which movies had a real world impact?

I read somewhere that after Top Gun was released, the recruitment of young men into the navy went up sharply.

Also (not a movie tho) after Queens Gambit, sale of Chess boards and google searches for chess rules went up multiple time.

So similarly what are some other examples when movies had a real world impact. Whether it's a very serious or significant impact or something small like hiking up the sales for a related commodity. Or, any movie that created social disturbance.

Like, that unknown movie that apparently led to the incidents in bengazi. (Not sure)

It can be movies from other countries also, just mention the country's name and context.
