Do people not know how to act in theaters anymore after COVID?

My wife and I just got back from seeing Cocaine Bear. This is the second movie we have seen where a lot of people have talked during the movie and this time it was even worse because these weren’t just some teenagers but grown ass adults in their 40s and 50s. Have others been having the same experience?
