Arrival rewatch is heartbreaking

We watch a person go through their parenthood and despite knowing what will come, not changing their choices. Because how could they? The love and warmth they feel is something they will not sacrifice no matter the hurtful cost. She shows resolve and empathy, knowing how the others around her will hurt yet she will not give up the love she experienced. It makes her so captivating to watch.
