Big budget animated films should look into how they recorded Rango

With the recent release of the Super Mario Bros. movie there's been a lot of criticism on the voice acting part. What I think the studio is overlooking is that they are hiring actors not voice actors, and yes those are two completely skill sets. Rango was able to capitalize on all their star power by having their actors do what they do best... act! They recorded the cast as if it was a live action movie, doing their lines together, acting out scenes, etc... Its one thing to have the director reading your partners line, but having the actual actor there.
