Directors/cinematographers similar in style to Wong Kar-Wai?

Currently doing a research task on an artist model, I'm curious to see if there are any similar people in terms of style, time period etc or people who influenced/have been influenced by Wong Kar-Wai. I love the style used in Chungking Express and Fallen Angels specifically, the colour is fantastic and it would be awesome to reference any of his influences or people who have influenced him.
