Apocalypto appreciation post

I feel like this movie is a masterpiece. Mel Gibson might be a jerk, but there’s no denying the storytelling is outstanding in this movie. The acting is outstanding across every scene. The cinematography is great. The screenplay is great.

Just watched it for like the 10th time and felt the need to speak up. Thanks.

Edit: Here’s a quote from the man, Edward James Olmos about Apocalypto: “I was totally caught off guard. It's arguably the best movie I've seen in years. I was blown away." Enough said.
