Galaxy Quest is still a brilliant spoof.

Not only of Star Trek, but of media tropes in general. For example, the fact that bomb timers on TV always stop at the last possible second. Even as a casual Trek fan, I could still pick out what they were parodying without the movie announcing it to me like bad parody movies always do. If you haven't seen this movie, don't sleep it whether you're a trekkie or not.
