The Lethal Weapon movies have the best franchise continuity of all time.

Four movies, and with the exception of aspect ratios (1.85:1 on LW, 2.35:1 on the sequels), nothing really changed.

Director? Same. Writer? Same. Cinematographer? Composer? Ditto.

But then there's the cast. Every speaking role goes four movies without a single recast. Even the Murtaugh kids, who age in real time.

I'm never too old for this shit.
