Jurassic Park - After becoming a programmer I understand this movie better-spoilers

Spoilers ahead: If you havn't seen this movie go watch it now.

In the movie Hammond keeps saying the line "spared no expense". Which is true in a lot of cases , they are even going for a fully automated park, so its a thing of the future.

The one thing he did go cheap on, was the programmer Nedry. He works for a tech firm and ended up getting a bad deal and is getting underpaid for his work.

It's for this reason the events in the movie unfold, because he did go cheap on the main programmer.

And keep in mind, Nedry is a S tier programmer . The guy debugs over 2 million lines of code, and there are only 151 bugs in the system, which is not a lot. So he does deserve to get paid a lot more money than he is.

Moral of the story Jurassic Park : Pay your programmers what their worth and don't cut corners in their pay.
