What much hyped movie actually exceeded your expectations?

I finally got around to watching Black Swan a few days ago, and while Natalie Portman's performance deserved all the accolades it got at the time, what I really can't stop thinking about now is the connection/line between madness and genius. It's kind of a rare thing anymore, but I love it when a movie delivers more than I expected.
