What was a movie you tried getting someone to enjoy with you but they didn’t enjoy it and it was just uncomfortable and awkward?

Basically it’s like the equivalent of showing your friends a YouTube video and awkwardly just standing there with the phone in your hand waiting for them to laugh at the funny part

Once I was dating this girl who told me she was into gory horror movies and so naturally I decided we should watch Cannibal Holocaust. She was down for it and we had our movie date and she wasn’t invested at all and it became increasingly uncomfortable as the film went on. Eventually she asked if I just wanted to bang instead so we turned it off and finished our date in the bedroom.

What sort of movies have you had this kind of situation with?
