The scariest aspect of the movie Alien is how the Company rerouted the ship while they were in hyper-sleep

Just imagine that.... you're in hypersleep and waking up some obscure spot in the galaxy? Because the company deemed it necessary. Sure it's in their contracts and what not... but just imagine that being a provision in it. Given how today's business will sell their own children to appease the share holders, or bump the share price up 1/4 pct, how would this fare in the future. How often do businesses opt violate laws and just pay the fine? Truly scary the more you think about it.
