What movie was ahead of its time and failed to realize its potential?

I’m going to say The One with Jet Li and Jason Statham. Pretty cool premise that would fit right in with today’s slate of movies. Really cool cast, but lost on an intensely dated late-90’s/2000’s soundtrack, cringy dialogue and really badly under developed visual effects. Could have been an awesome movie.
