What are some shoestring budget movies with a solid story and good acting everyone should watch?

By "shoestring budget", I mean a small one as compared to something like a big Hollywood movie. These can be movies with either A-list actors or B-list or even "never heard from them again"-list. But I want something that with a good plot, good acting and that basically is a solid movie. All while being achieved with not much at the producer's disposal and them having to get creative/innovative with what they had.
