Movies where the sequel is a comedy?

I was watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 the other day and I was wondering, what other movie series took such a left turn with (one of) its sequel?

Evil Dead 2 - Probably the most famous horror example.

Return to the 36th Chamber - The first one is a serious martial arts movie, the sequel is more in the vein of a Jackie Chan movie.

Bride of Chucky - The first 3 are relatively serious, but with 4 and especially 5 they're straight up comedies.

Some debatable examples:

Star Trek IV - It's not a full on comedy, but it's definitely more comedic than its predecessors.

Gremlins 2 - The first one is already a comedy, the sequel just fully embraces it.
