What movie do you love, that the generation before or after you just doesn’t get?

I saw this as I just started The Karate Kid, most 1980’s movies my kind’s won’t tolerate through the long drawn out opening credits. My parents especially my dad was always open minded to just about any movie. That’s not the case with my wife’s parents who are a bit older. If a movie is crude, it’s a big turnoff for them. So what movies do you like that the next generation doesn’t get?
