[Meta Discussion] The subreddit banner header is way too slow.

Hi, can we possibly speed the header banner up a bit? It's almost impossible to scroll through, as it moves so slowly I actually lose interest in anything I might be searching for. For instance, I saw La La Land and thought it would be quicker to scroll through the header banner, but I was very wrong.
