What is the most consistently funny movie you've ever seen?

I'm looking for comedies, but lately I have no idea where to start. Whenever I feel like watching a good comedy, the only movie that comes to mind is The Nice Guys.

I just feel comedies can suffer from the same problem as a horror movie, in that it's either great, or awful. There isn't really room for just fine or passable.

So, my question to you is of course what movie would you recommend for the list of most consistently funny movie ever?
