What multi-film franchise did you start, but give up on before finishing?

For me it's the Hobbit movies. I really enjoyed the Lord of the Rings trilogy and I saw the first 2 Hobbit movies in theaters, but I just had no ambition to see the finale. To this day, I still haven't seen it.

I'm mostly curious about a series that you would go to the theaters for, but watching at home counts as well.
