What movies have ending/post-credit scenes that were made to setup a franchise but never made it past the first film?

After watching a Funhaus video where one of the members mentioned how they loved it when movies that were supposed to setup the beginning of a franchise with an ending scene or a post-credit scene, I got curious. Does anyone know what movies have actually done this?

Hopefully this one can go by the automod this time since I'm not too sure what else to put here that can make this post cross 300 characters. It probably isn't the most thought out discussion topic or question but I thought it was funny as well when a studio thinks they have the next big franchise on their hands only to have it get scrapped immediately.
