The next Deadpool movie should be called Deadpool 4. It should take place after the events of Deadpool 3, a movie that doesn't exist, but the characters reference what happened in it.

Just imagine Deadpool 4 being announced, no mention of Deadpool 3 at first, but then it could be a running joke in all the promotional material. Like the first trailer could have Deadpool saying something like "some asshole deleted all the files for Deadpool 3" and stuff like that. You could have character lines like Domino saying "This isn't as bad as when we fought that giant space robot last time," or Cable saying "Last time you tried that you almost got us all killed," and then Deadpool looks at the camera and says "He's talking about Deadpool 3, would have been such a good scene." Deadpool is the perfect kind of movie to pull off something like this, it would be hilarious.
