Why is Netflix letting themselves be treated like a garbage dump for crappy movies?

This is a rant about these shitty movies that we've been getting on Netflix. Why are they spending a fuck load of money to buy crap like Cloverfield Paradox? or that How It Ends movie with Theo James (who is a boring actor that chooses a lot of crap movies to star in) and even that Extinction movie with Michael Pena

Do these filmmakers run to Netflix to sell them their movies because other distribution companies rejected to pick them up?

Most of them looks cheap and horrible as well such as Siege of Jadotville and ARQ and then we get stupid stuff like The Kissing Booth and Game Over Man
