Is Bohemian Rhapsody worth watching in a theater

I am trying to convince my partner, who also loves Queen, to watch Bohemian Rhapsody at the cinema with me next week. He hates going to the cinema. I consider certain movies are better in the inclusive ambient of the theater.

People who have seen the movie: Do you recomend it? Is it worth watching in a theater or should we wait for the DVD release?
