It kinda blows my mind that Prisoners (2013) didn’t get more Oscar love

Although I think that the Best Cinematography nomination was well-deserved, I think that both Hugh Jackman and Jame Gyllenhaal should’ve easily picked up Best Actor/Supporting Actor noms. I also think it should’ve also been nominated for Best Picture, Original Screenplay, Editing, and Directing.

It really is a masterpiece of a movie that I’m surprised didn’t get much awards buzz. One of the best acted movies I’ve seen in a long time.
