It: Chapter 2 is an awful movie

Holy shit, what happened??? The first movie isn't amazing but it's very entertaining, the 2nd movie is a manic mess of cheap jokes and hamfisted emotional moments. They somehow managed to make James McAvoy terrible and I think him as Bill is perfect casting... Under another writer/director team.

Seriously though. This movie is terrible. It feels like a tech demo vaguely masquerading as a Stephen King adaption with all the bizarre transitions and terrible sfx. Wtf is that Mrs Kersh scene lol
