Are there any roles in films that were originally written as unisex?

Ever since I started writing a screenplay so that every character’s gender is ambiguous in the script (for better casting), the topic of characters written unisex has interested me. I had found that the characters of Alien had no specific sex written for them, but I was wondering if there were any other movies with characters or ensembles written unisex? Thanks in advance.
