Films set in the 80s have synthwave music, bright colours, and tacky dress sense. Films set in the 90s are a bit grungy, with cameras being angled in dark hallway shots. Films set in the 00s have characters with frosted tips and baggy pants. Films set in the 70s are grainy and most men have long hair and moustaches. What novelties, gimmicks and styles could future films incorporate from the 10s that will help establish its setting in that decade? What real life stories from that decade would make great feature films?
