Cloak & Dagger (1984) - an 80s film I'd somehow never heard of before but really enjoyed

I have no idea how this film ever passed me by. I've rewatched the decent 80s movies countless times yet only heard of this in a discussion about WarGames recently. I even had a ColecoVision and Atari in the 80s which both feature in the movie - as does Henry Thomas, father-connection-issues, Hitchcockian suspense, bad guys with guns, a corpse in a trunk, a bomb in a bag, a microchip mcguffin and loads of other fun genre tropes. The opening scene really took me by surprise, sort of riffing on the Twilight Zone episode Five Characters in Search of an Exit.

Its well worth seeking out if you have kids or miss those non-CGI family-friendly 80s vibes!
