Did you ever sit and watched the end of VHS tapes?

Did you ever sit through the end credits of a VHS tape just to see the black screen and the phone dialing sound and the sudden white screen with the beeping sound and then the quiet blue screen?

I would do this a lot as a kid. I found these things weird and mysterious.

I don't know if I was expecting some secret scene at the end of the credits. I didn't even know end credit scenes would become a thing.
