Bumblebee is the best Transformers movie

I don't hate the Michael Bay movies as much as everyone else does. I loved the 1st and 3rd Transformers movies, had some enjoyment from the 2nd movie, didn't care much for the 4th movie, and found the 5th movie completely unwatchable. Bumblebee was on a whole other level from those movies. Bumblebee had excellent character designs that stood out, while when watching the other movies, the Decepticons always have a grey body with red eyes, so it's harder for general audiences to know who's who. with the lack of shaky cam, Bumblebee's action was the easiest to follow in the whole Transformers series. a shortened run time is something that helps Bumblebee because some of the other movies feel a little too long sometimes. in Transformers 4, I completely check out by the time they get to China. I also like that it's not necessary to watch the other movies before watching Bumblebee. this could be your introduction to Transformers and you could follow it just fine. actually it makes more sense when you ignore the other movies because the continuity went all over the place by the time the 5th movie happened. this is why I treat Bumblebee as its own movie, instead of as a prequel. Bumblebee is actually my favorite movie of 2018 and I recommend it to anyone who likes Transformers or is interested in getting into it.
