A Quiet Place had a budget of $17M and made $50M in its opening weekend and $340M worldwide at the end of its run. A Quiet Place part 2 has a budget of only $25M

This low budget has to be intentional, right? I imagine John Krasinski wants to rely on story-telling rather than $100M budget monster action movie. I feel like many good original movies receive a substantial budget for the sequel but ends up sacrificing story for action which results in a horrible movie experience. First example that comes to mind is Train to Busan and its sequel Peninsula.
