Which sequel had the BIGGEST improvement in quality from its predecessor?

Batman Begins was a great movie followed by an absolute masterpiece in The Dark Knight, and the 1st Captain America movie was a solid movie followed by an amazing one in The Winter Soldier, but I was wondering if there were any sequels that had an even BIGGER jump in quality. I don't mean going from "good" to "great", but going from "mediocre" to "great/amazing" for example. Which sequel, in your opinion, had the biggest improvement in quality from its predecessor?
