What are some actually good prequels?

I have been thinking about prequel films that I have seen and cant, for the life of me, think of one that I actually like. Most of the ones that come to mind either take intrigue away from the originals movies, like alien 5 and prometheus, or contradict them, like the starwars prequels. (Nothing wrong with liking said movies but at leats for me they kind of take away from the experience of the originals when I think about them.) So I wanted to know what you people think are some good preguel films?
