What the hell is going on with Bruce Willis

I’m so confused as to what is going on with Bruce Willis’ career. I see trailers with him in the most schlocky B movie action flicks so often. I could understand if he was a struggling old action star i.e. Steven Segal but he clearly has money and has openly talked about how he doesn’t enjoy acting anymore and yet he’s in terrible films nonstop. Makes zero sense!
