Now that Top Gun: Maverick is such a hit, can we please get another ‘Hot Shots!’? You can just call it ‘Topper.’

I know that parody films are no longer in, but Hot Shots! was the perfect parody movie for Top Gun. It didn’t really draw too much from other films nor from pop references. It was a straight parody of a popular film.

I still use the quote from the funeral every time someone gives me money: “I’m gonna take this <insert dollar amount> and blow it all on hats!”
