What are some terrible films that are so visually stunning they trick people into thinking they are great films?

I was having a discussion with some friends about how a visually stunning film can trick the audience into thinking it's better than it is. So it made me wonder what films you think contain terrible narratives but are so visually appealing they end up getting way more credit than they deserve. Do any films stand out?
