Someone made a thread about Ryan Reynolds yesterday so I decided to rewatch a little-known indie film he made called The Voices and it's legit one of the best performances of the 2010s and a highly underlooked black comedy.

I'm very hit or miss with Ryan Reynolds. I very much prefer his more dramatic work or toned down stuff like in his romantic comedies like Definitely, Maybe and The Proposal. But this movie really is a shocking tour de force performance that got little to no critical attention or fanfare. It's an incredibly tough performance to pull off because Reynolds is having to play a ruthless murderer under the guise of not being in. control of his actions and he pulls it off flawlessly.
