The one that comes to mind for me is Law Abiding Citizen. Jamie Foxx’s character didn’t deserve to win: He learned nothing, stood by the broken system, let a murderer walk free and got to live happily with his family. Anytime Clyde challenged his defence of the corrupt system his argument was always just: “This is how it’s always been.” Clyde unambiguously proved the justice system was screwed up but him dying and nothing changing is this movies happy ending.
