What actor or actress got significantly better in their acting abilities with each movie they starred in?

Scarlett Johansson I find is a big example of this! She started her career at a young age, but was already getting cast in a lot of roles due to how quickly she became a “sex symbol” that some people would paid more attention to her looks rather than her actual abilities in acting.

In her early work, I do find that she was average at best. But with each movie she starred in throughout the years, she did get a lot better that she became more than just a “sex symbol” that would attract more viewers.

When I look at some of her recent work like Marriage Story (2019) and Jojo Rabbit (2019), and look back at her other films such as The Island (2005) or The Perfect Score (2004. I’m impressed with how far she’s come with her talent.

She became more of an actor rather than another “blockbuster movie star!”
