What's a really good movie that ends tragically?

Hi there!

I don't mean, like, the ending sucked. But a really good movie that ended with death/destruction/demise?

Nothing like the first two Avengers where good ultimately prevails in the third.

My wife and I just got done with Prometheus. Great movie, even with an ending where, well, it (hence spoiler tag) wasn't a "favorable" outcome.
