Which films have incredible practical effects?

I was watching Ghostbusters last night and the opening scene made me miss the magic of practical effects. As the older librarian walled through the aisles, books started flying from shelf to shelf, the cards fluttered out of the drawers, and more.

I don't believe it would have captured my wonder the same way if it was CGI. It's almost as if I had a sense of the time and effort it took to make it happen. I know creating realistic graphics isn't easy, but having it in the moment felt more real to me.

What are some other films that have gone above and beyond with practical effects?
