Which movie you think have the most wasted plot potential?

If you would pick a movie that had a great plot potential, but it just ended up as lazily written or gives a feeling of "not really finished", then what would you pick?

For me it could be "A Cure for Wellness" from 2016. It was a really, really interesting mix of psychological horror and mystery. Nice idea, movie had memorable scenes, great acting, originality, beautiful visuals, it was tensing and kept your eyes glued to the screen. The only serious problem was basically the fact that at some point, plot started to be kind of obvious as it were getting worse and worse as it slowly escalated into probably one of the worst movie endings i ever saw. Specifically i hated how poorly and lazily it explained whole of the movie, it almost felt like writer had only 5 minutes to finish the script on his knee. Basically the way movie escalated was very disappointing, and it seemed so promising from the beginning
