What Oscar nominated film would have won Best Picture had it been released a year earlier or a year later?

In your opinion, what film could have beaten it's competition had it been released one year earlier or one year later? Tom Hanks has a few movies from the 90's (Apollo 13, Saving Private Ryan, The Green Mile) that could have potentially beat the eventual winners, though he had so many big hits he would be competing with himself. Regardless, what films do you think could have won in a one year difference?
