Something I noticed about J. Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man (2002)...

In this scene, when Jameson meets the Green Goblin, the script goes roughly:

"Jameson, you slime! Who's the photographer that takes pictures of Spider-Man?!"

"I don't know him, I swear! He mails his stuff in!"

J. Jonah Jameson, while depicted as being a total selfish douche, actually risks his own life to save this kid Peter Parker, who is right behind him the entire time. I had never noticed that until I rewatched the movie last night, and thought that it was pretty cool.
