LEGO Movie 2 - The Second Part

(Just got out of a screening of it)

Phil Lord and Chris Miller did it again. These two just know how to make an awesome, funny movie. At this point, no one should doubt any projects they take from now on.

Major props to Mike Mitchell and Trisha Gum for doing a great job directing this time around. Even though it was someone else in charge, the DNA of the other LEGO movies are still here and strong.

It's equally as good as the original. Even though the original had an incredible ending, this one has so many moments sprinkled through that are just as good, that it adds up.

This one brings Music, and musical numbers to the mix and its pretty good to be honest. The songs are annoyingly catchy, and that's the point. Mike Mitchell really loves his music.

Tiffany Haddish is fantastic and her character is great to look at. This movie shines when it does some insane inventive stuff in animation, and she was one of them.

If I had one minor criticism, it's that the way they rewrote Batman makes LEGO Batman Movie completely pointless. It's a shame to be honest, but it makes sense why they did it. Just wish they found another way to do both.

Can't recommend it enough, it's a blast.
