What are some mediocre or bad movies with great opening scenes?

SPOILERS

Explain the scene, why it’s good and your disappointment in the movie.

Specter:

The “one shot” of Bond strolling through a parade, changing in a woman’s loft and listening to bad guys across the street using a gun with sonic device - intriguing and stylish.

Disappointment begins with the ensuing action scene. Plot tries to accomplish too much, action was typical and uninteresting. Great actor was wasted on an uninteresting villain.

Batman V Superman:

the ending fight scene from The Man of Steel as seen from Bruce’s perspective, giving Bruce a reason to hate Clark. The original fight scene wasn’t especially remarkable but this take was creative and interesting.

Great example of primary conflict could be resolved with a five minute honest conversation. Bruce’s motives never made sense. Too much in one plot (Doomsday, really?). While admittedly challenging to execute well, their big fight was silly - in all other mediums Clark can be incapacitated simply by being near kryptonite. No grenades or spear needed.
