What is with this stupid new trend of announcing that you are about to watch a trailer at the beginning of trailers?

I don't understand why I need to be told that I am about to watch a trailer for a trailer I clicked on. examples would be The Northman, Top Gun:Maverick, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I clicked on the link. I don't need something that the trailer "starts now". What is the point of this?
